Mr. Gu, General Manager, Visits Siempelkamp (Qingdao) Co., Ltd.

On June 4, Mr. David Gu, General Manager of Wuxi Xintong Company, paid a visit to Siempelkamp (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. Special technical seminars were launched between core technical and supply chain personnel of both parties. The Chief Engineer and Purchasing Manager of Siempelkamp (Qingdao) attended the meeting, conducting in-depth discussions on key and difficult production processes of hot platens for continuous wood-based panel presses, so as to consolidate the foundation of technical cooperation and supply chain collaboration between the two sides.

During the symposium, both parties focused on the processing technology of hot platens, the core component of continuous wood-based panel presses. It is introduced that NM400 wear-resistant steel plate is adopted as the main material for the hot platens of this continuous press, with material hardness reaching HRC40+. The high-strength and wear-resistant properties greatly improve service life and operational stability of the equipment, while putting forward stringent requirements for the whole production process including finish machining and welding.

Targeting the processing pain points of this special steel plate, both sides discussed key control points of three core working procedures: deep hole machining, precision grooving and structural welding. Combined with mass production standards, equipment operating conditions and industrial processing experience, the two parties sorted out process risks of high-hardness wear-resistant steel plate processing, clarified key control specifications including precision control, process parameter adjustment, welding stress relief and finished product inspection, and further unified technical standards as well as optimized production processing schemes.

This visit broke down communication barriers between technical and supply chain departments, and solved practical production difficulties of hot platens efficiently. In the future, Wuxi Xintong will maintain close cooperation with Siempelkamp (Qingdao), implement the process schemes confirmed in this meeting and strictly control product quality. Relying on high-quality raw materials and standardized processing technology, both sides will promote performance upgrading of continuous wood-based panel press equipment, further explore the wood-based panel equipment manufacturing industry, and achieve mutually beneficial and long-term development.
